Laurimar participated in it's second year of District Cross Country at Bundoora Park on the 4th of May 2010. Students have been training every Tuesday and Thursday mornings here at the school at 8.25am. Students were fantastic the way they persisted and committed to their training. Overall LPS came equal 7th for the day. Competitors who finished in the top 8 will now go on to participate in the zone finals held at Bundoora Park later in the term. Students participating in this event will be:
9/10 Boys - Bryce Kotas (6th) & Hayden Jesser (8th)
12/13 Boys - Jarrod Woods (8th)
Special Mention to Talia Pearson who came 11th in her 11 year girls event. Also, a mention must go to all of the great supporters who turned out for the day. There were lots of parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents supporting our group of competitors. Well done Laurimar
We are all very proud of you.

Round Robin
Tourourrong District Round Robin 2010
Mernda Primary School / Recreational Reserve
It was our second Tourourrong District Round Robin at Mernda Primary School and the weather really turned it on for everybody. We walked the 3km journey to and from the venue. This is a reflection of the culture of Laurimar Primary School and commitment to the health and wellbeing of our students. All students were exceptionally behaved and their sportsmanship was great.
